Anyone with a mixed breed dog has played the guessing game to figure out what breeds make up their beloved mutt!  Well, now with the help of Mars Veterinary Company we are able to take the guess work out of your dog's heritage!  Mars has developed a blood test that is able to identify the breeds present in a mixed breed dog with the use of genetic markers. 

Here at Countryside Animal Hospital we thought it would be fun to play that guessing game with one of our employees dogs and really what fun is a game without a prize for the winner!  So, we are having a contest to guess what breeds make up Jenny's dog, Cassie.  All that you have to do is email your guess to info@countrysideanimalhospital.com and once we receive 50 guesses we will send off Cassie's sample to be tested by the lab.  Please limit guesses to a maximum of 4 breeds.  The person that has the most accurate guess at Cassie's genetic make-up will win a free test for their own pet.  That is a $150 value!!

Here is a little background on Cassie.  She is a 8 year old 50 pound dog.  She was adopted at 8 weeks of age.
